Casual, Part-Time, and Full-Time Receptionist

Health Hub Doctors Morayfield are a large GP practice based inside the Health Hub Morayfield. Together, we are a dedicated team of Doctors, Nurses, Receptionists and Specialists all working together to care for the residents and visitors of the Morayfield area. About the role:

Reporting to the Practice Manager, your objective as a medical receptionist is to help create a reception environment in which all our receptionists enjoy their work, excel in their roles and delight our patients. As part of this remit, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Basic troubleshooting with printers, computers and phones.
  • Patient Invoicing and Receipting
  • Experience with Medicare Billing
  • WorkCover and DVA Claims
  • General Administrative duties

 About you:

  • Competent in the software Best Practice
  • Knowledge of Medicare billing
  • Excellent communication
  • Good presentation
  • Strong capability to work in a team
  • Delivery of high quality service to patients & Health Care Professionals.
  • An enthusiastic approach
  • Compassion and the ability to relate well to patients
  • Capacity to perform under pressure
  • Demonstrate multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate with good data entering accuracy
  • Flexibility, with the ability to work weekends and late evenings
  • Strong patient focus, demonstrating a commitment to patient care
  • The ability to work autonomously and efficiently
  • You’ll have great attention to detail and a desire to support continuous improvement in office operations
