Dr Robert D’Hotman is skilled in a wide range of family health services and the surgical field. He qualified as a medical practitioner in Rhodesia in 1979 and then obtained UK recognition in the same year.
Dr D’Hotman then spent two years in the air force service during which time he specialised in Aviation medicine and then practiced for 18 years in South Africa expanding his practical capabilities as a General Procedural Practitioner. During this time he worked in a Private Practice, Emergency Medicine, then at a Mission hospital as a teacher in the surgical department.
Dr D’Hotman’s main interests lie in the surgical fields. He offers vasectomies, and all the definitive skin cancer surgeries, including the various skin flaps required for more substantial lesion closures, plus many minor surgical procedures including excisions of various cysts, lipomas, soft tissue masses, ugly keloid scars & other unsightly moles. He has completed the Advanced course in Cosmetic Injecting to compliment his surgical skills, and is skilled in cosmetic injecting (Botox, Fillers , PRP). He also has an interest in chronic pain solutions that are an alternative to strong pain killer prescriptions with a view to reducing these.
