Over the past 3.5 years, Health Hub Doctors Morayfield has been dedicated to providing essential COVID-19 respiratory services within our specialised and purpose designed clinic. Throughout this time, we have had the privilege of caring for and treating over 185,000 patients.
Initially, our respiratory clinic operated as a Commonwealth-funded facility, up until February 2023. Subsequently, we made the decision to continue offering these essential services, fully bulk billed, to support our local community through the challenging winter months.
In light of recent government guidance encouraging a return to a more conventional healthcare landscape, we have thoughtfully evaluated our role in this evolving scenario. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to close our respiratory clinic. The final day of operation for our respiratory clinic will be Sunday, October 1st, 2023.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support over the last 3.5 years. It has been our honour to serve our community during a time of great need, and we hope that we have delivered valuable care to you when it mattered most.
Patients experiencing any respiratory symptoms, fever or other infective symptoms will be seen and treated by their regular GP at Health Hub Doctors Morayfield or may choose to see their own GP if they receive their normal care elsewhere.
We encourage anyone with respiratory symptoms, fever or other signs of infection to test at home with a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test prior to visiting the clinic. We have a limited number of RAT tests that are available for free to patients of this clinic, if you do not have one readily available or cannot purchase one. Friends and family of the unwell patient are able to pick up a RAT test from our front reception.
If positive, then you may choose to have a telehealth consultation or if you wish an in-person consultation. Please advise reception at the time of booking so that we can make suitable arrangements for you when you arrive.
Please consider wearing a mask upon your arrival at Health Hub Doctors Morayfield, if possible. Alternatively, when checking in at our main reception, we are more than happy to provide you with a mask as a precautionary measure to safeguard the well-being of our fellow patients. It’s important to note that wearing a mask is not mandatory but highly recommended.
If your consult is regarding another concern and you have the above symptoms, you will be required to return home and re-book when you are well.

In our respiratory clinic, we want to ensure that you and our staff are fully protected. Please do not be alarmed that our staff will be wearing full personal protective equipment and you will be asked to wear a mask.
