Shivi is a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with 12 years of experience in the emergency department and urgent care. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing from Otago with distinction and worked in the emergency department as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Registered Nurse Prescriber.
Shivi continued her education and completed a Master of Nursing from Massey University with distinction in 2020. Following this she completed the Nurse Practitioner Training Program from Massey University and registered as a Nurse Practitioner in New Zealand and Australia.
Shivi has recently relocated to Brisbane after living in New Zealand for the past 18 years. She works across urgent care and minor injury and illness clinics. Shivi’s practice is informed by current evidence-based research to find optimal treatment modalities for the patients. As a Nurse Practitioner she is focused on working in partnership with patients to develop an individualised treatment plan.
Over the period of 12 years, Shivi has gained many skills to manage acute presentations with a particular interest in treating Orthopedic injuries. When not at work Shivi enjoys painting, walking on the beach and planning a yearly adventure activity.
