Dr Stuart McMaster MBCHB, FRACGP, FACP is NZ trained doctor who graduated from University of Otago. As a General Practitioner, Dr McMaster enjoys all aspects of general medicine but is particularly passionate about skin cancer and varicose veins. He has a broad range of emergency and minor surgery skills after spending many years practicing in rural New Zealand.

Stuart relocated to Brisbane in 2003 and was involved in the development of the Masters of Skin Cancer Medicine programme at University of Queensland. He has also completed further training in dermoscopy and phlebology in which he learnt to manage lower limb venous problems.

In treating venous problems, Stuart uses minimally invasive treatments of Laser, Sclerotherapy, and Tissue Glue. He has extensive experience in this area having matriculated as one of the first Graduate  Fellows of the Australasian College of Phlebology in 2006, involved since that time both in managing patients with vein problems, but also in teaching and examining trainee doctors in the Phlebology College.
