Dr Faraaz is a British-trained, Specialist General Practitioner with additional training and qualifications in Anaesthesia, Urgent and Pre-Hospital Care.
He is passionate about leveraging his experience as an Emergency and Urgent Care doctor to provide accessible, high-quality and evidence-based urgent care to the local community.
Notably, he has worked as a Critical Care Doctor for the Ambulance Service. Alongside delivering lifesaving treatment to those critically unwell, he enjoyed treating people holistically at home in order to avoid unnecessary hospital attendances. He has also been privileged to fly as a helicopter emergency medicine physician. In hospital, Dr Faraaz has worked as a senior doctor in emergency medicine and anaesthetics/intensive care.
As part of his specialist General Practice, he has worked as an urgent care physician in the UK. In this position, he was appointed as a trainer and supervisor for doctors-in-training in out-of-hours and urgent care.
Dr Faraaz graduated with four Merits, two Distinctions and a prize for academic excellence from the University of London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has been granted Membership by Examination of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Dr Faraaz is accredited as a GP Anaesthetist in Australia by the Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia and holds numerous postgraduate Diplomas in areas ranging from Immediate Care to Care of the Elderly.
