James Chapman is a highly accomplished Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in acute and intensive care nursing. He began his journey by studying Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Canberra, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Intensive Care Nursing. James furthered his education with a Master of Nursing Practice from Deakin University and pursued Masters level Pharmacology at the University of Newcastle, enhancing his clinical expertise.
With a strong foundation in critical care, James has become a respected clinical academic and lecturer. He is a proud member of several professional organisations including the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners, Australasian Lymphology Association, Australian College of Critical Care Nurses, and Australian Vascular Access Society.
James’s professional interests encompass a wide range of areas, including lymphoedema management, child and adolescent health, men’s health, and ultrasound-guided vascular access. Notably, he is one of the few practitioners at Health Hub Doctors Morayfield who performs IV insertions using ultrasound guidance, showcasing his advanced skills and dedication to innovative healthcare practices.
